If you’ve caught moments of this show on MTV, or simply because it is on MTV, have written this guy off – you should really go back & take another look. Your body is seriously begging you to laugh this hard! I tend to write off things that look like “stupid” humor…anything with Ben Stiller or Will Ferrell seems, at surface level, like an idiotic waste of time, and it’s usually once it comes out on dvd that I end up watching it one night and laughing my ass off. Thankfully, I overcame my ‘pre-judgement’ of Rob Dyrdek & started watching his show and you should too.

Why?

Rob Dydrek has the syrupy southern charm voice of Mathew Mcconaughey combined with a forever-15-yr-old-boy sense of humor and the unassuming looks of Eric from Entourage…& MTV follows him around his “Fantasy Factory” he has been afforded due to his massively successful skateboard company. That’s right, this guy got rich on skateboards & uses his money to set up all kinds of ridiculousness in his warehouse/office/basketball court/foam pit/indoor skatepark/indoor gymkhana track(if you have never seen his gymkhana episode, there is a mini-clip in the clip I’ve linked to below, it’s the mini-car that he’s racing!) Rob creates situations that you can’t help but laugh at, has the money & time to do crazy stunts that make you sit on the edge of your couch & cheer when he finally gets it right & a group of friends (& a rapping receptionist) who keep everything hysterically funny.

Here’s a clip to get you started on Rob Dyrdek & I bet you’ll want to search for more once you get that laugh going!
